1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement to use an account. Provide accurate information, protect access to your account and use only your own identity.
2. Marketplace role
Nanny Gigs provides tools for families and caregivers to discover one another, communicate and organize hiring steps. Unless expressly stated in a separate agreement, Nanny Gigs is not the employer, nanny agency, household employer, payroll provider or guarantor of either party.
3. Your responsibilities
Families and caregivers are responsible for interviews, references, lawful work authorization, compensation, overtime, payroll, taxes, insurance, records, contracts and all hiring or employment decisions. Families must provide a good-faith compensation range when requested and both parties should agree on duties, schedule, rate, emergency expectations and cancellations before care begins. 4. Trust and safety limits
No account, identity check, reference or background report can guarantee safety, suitability or future conduct. Treat each signal as one input and use independent judgment. Never send money, gift cards or sensitive identity documents through ordinary chat.
5. Acceptable use
Do not impersonate another person, discriminate unlawfully, harass, exploit, scrape, spam, publish illegal content, bypass safeguards or use the service to arrange unsafe or unlawful conduct. Do not share another person’s private information without permission.
6. Content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you provide. You give Nanny Gigs a limited permission to host, format and display that content only as necessary to operate and improve the service. You must have the right to provide everything you upload.
7. Referrals
You may share a pilot referral link with someone who has agreed to receive it. Do not scrape contacts, send bulk unsolicited messages, misrepresent an invitation as guaranteed access, or claim a reward or priority benefit that Nanny Gigs has not offered. A referral does not reveal either person’s private application details and does not affect human-review standards.
8. Pilot introductions
An authorized moderator may separately contact an approved family and nanny about a possible introduction. No contact information should be shared until both people agree. Permission may be revoked and must be reconfirmed when it is more than 14 days old and no handoff has occurred. A handoff timestamp records that contact was shared without copying the contact details or conversation into the introduction record. Every introduction, interview, trial and hiring decision remains voluntary and human-controlled; Nanny Gigs does not automatically score, rank, reject, employ or guarantee either party.
9. Private pilot feedback
You may receive a single-use link asking what happened after an introduction. Feedback is voluntary and should be truthful, relevant and limited to information needed to improve the pilot. Do not include children’s names, exact addresses, diagnoses, identity documents or another person’s contact details. No reward is offered, and a response is not published as a review or testimonial without separate permission. Feedback does not automatically alter pilot access, an introduction outcome or any hiring decision.
10. Availability and changes
The service may evolve, experience interruptions or change features as the marketplace develops. Public store availability, payments and third-party verification features are governed by their current product states and any additional terms presented at launch.
11. Suspension and deletion
Access may be restricted for suspected misuse, safety risk or violation of these terms. You may delete your account through the public account-deletion route. Deletion does not erase obligations that arose before deletion.
12. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nanny Gigs does not promise that every match, member statement, screening source or outcome will be complete, accurate or suitable for you.
13. Updates
Material changes will appear here with an updated effective date. Continued use after an effective change means the updated terms apply to later use.
